Become One Of Life's Winners

WHY, BUCK FLANNIGAN, WHY COULDN'T YOU STAY WITH BRYCE DREW LIKE YOU WERE TOLD TO DO?

Never let it be said that I have not offered you something of value when you visit this spot.  And if you did say it, you may stop now.  Thanks to the annual Belly of the Beast NCAA Tournament pool, you now have the chance to call yourself a winner, thus separating yourself from the rest of life's losers.  But that's not all.  Much like the College Bowl Pick'em Quest for Marginal Greatness that we all so thoroughly enjoyed in December and January, you'll also have the chance to win a $100 gift from yourself and yet another PDF on my computer desktop and I don't know what it is.

As usual, if you're reading this, you're encouraged to sign up.  Here's the link and other info.

For inspiration, provoking tears or creating an unexpected flurry of rage, depending on your rooting interests, here's video evidence of the most Ole Miss moment ever.  Watch Flannigan leave Drew to chase the ball, which created the sliver of space Drew needed to get off the shot.

WHITE, BLINDING RAGE.

  1. Still heartbreaking all these years later. We watched the last minute of this game in a bar in NYC. Another game had ended and the station had just switched over to the last minute of the Ole Miss game. The television was on mute -so we watched in silence- which made it seem even more unbelievable! “Did that just really happen???” We walked around New York in a daze for the next two hours! #4 seed - will that ever happen again in my lifetime? I can only hope so! Hotty Toddy!

  2. Most Ole Miss fans express hatred for Bryce Drew, which is a poor direction of that hate. The outrage should be directed at Ansu Sesay for missing BOTH free throws just prior to that play and Buck Flannigan for the aforementioned failure to do his one job.
