So it wouldn't surprise me to see them fire Tressel close to the NCAA appearance date. If the university decides they aren't going to go to bat for him and prove why he should stay, I would expect to hear they are letting him go pretty soon. Do you really wait until August to fire your head coach 3 or 4 weeks before the season starts?
